Paper Embossing Seal Presses
Our desk top embossing seal presses are designed to emboss paper around 100 - 120 gsm. However people do use them to emboss up to around 260-300 gsm successfully. With square borders you can sometimes have a problem with the paper pulling towards a corner and causing a small crease, this can be overcome by putting the image within a circular border.
1. Model M desk top embossing seal press at starts from $165.00 Inc gst, with just text, with either die holders circular; 38 mm diameter or rectangular 48 x 23 mm . (We Recommended 100 gsm paper, but can be uses to emboss approx 220 gsm papers). An extra set of dies & holder can be made for this press.
If a logo is required an extra cost is payable for first set of dies using the Logo, (These dies are PVC Laser Engraved) 3 - 4 Days to Manufacture. If a crest or coat of arms, is required, or logo with fine detail, or extra thick paper to be embossed, we recommend spending an extra price and getting a metal die engraved. This gives a sharper Impression, and works better on thicker papers but takes about 2 weeks to manufacture.

Brass MR - O Desk Top Embossing Seal Press is the ideal gift and is designed similar to the old fashion type presses with its Gold Plated finish that looks terrific, die sizes are the same as the Ideal Model M, but have only a limited reach from the edge of the page of 10 mm for the round dies and 16 mm with rectangular dies.
3. The Official Long Reach Embossing Seal Press is a heaver constructed embosser press and has a reach of 34 mm to the start of the 48 mm diameter impression.

The Best Embossing Seal Press we sell is the Just Rite Extra long Reach Embossing Seal Press (JLR) It has two fulcrum points which makes using the press much easier to use and has a reach of 80 mm to the start of the 48 mm diameter Impression, (total reach 130 mm). With the standard plastic dies paper up to around 200 gsm can be embossed. If you require to emboss paper up to 300 gsm we recommend a metal die and bakelite counterpart. This press also has another die holder available 70 x 20 mm. An extra set of dies and holder can be purchased separately. Artwork needs to be supplied from a PDF or PC TIFF file 600 dpi black on white, no grey scale or colour files.
